Angelo has been holding down the bottom end for decades, having toured the world as bass player for the Fins. Angelo was worked with and continues to work with, some of the best blues acts in the world
Jazz, blues, even rock and roll
Angelo can usually be found with either his trusty 7-'s Fender P-bass, or if you're lucky, you catch up playing his custom upright!
A life long NJ native and resident, I've lived everywhere from Paterson to Morristown. Guitarist for 30+ years. Started as a drummer, but it was a lot easier carrying a guitar. The majority of my work (15 albums?) has been rock, but I've always been anchored in and inspired by the Blues.
Just about anyone who has picked up a guitar to play the blues. BB King, Eric Clapton, SRV, Otis Rush, Kid Ramos, Albert King are all favs.
The Aces have a certain sound, so I tend to stick with the 1961 Supro Coronado into a Tyler 20/20 Tweed amplifier. Only pedals for this gig are tuner, Boss OD1, Analog Man TS808, Univibe, and a Fender '63 Reverb pedal. Other guitars that may appear: 1966 Fender Stratocaster, 1959 Fender Jazzmaster, Epiphone P93 Riviera, Gibson 50's Les Paul with Bigsby and P90s, Mexican Telecaster. Lots more lying around.
